I'm currently a postdoctoral research fellow on the Language of Consciousness project at ANU. I came to ANU after receiving my PhD from Yale in July of 2017, where I worked with Zoltán Gendler Szabó, Jason Stanley, and Larry Horn. Before Yale, I did my MA in philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and was an undergrad at Northwestern University.

When I'm not doing philosophy, I like to read and write poetry and fiction. I played the violin until I was in my mid 20s, but these days I'm mostly a listener; I love classical music, metal, hip hop, and a bunch of stuff in between. I also play hockey, Olympic lift, train with kettlebells, and run a small athletic and personal training business.
